Kyamran Mohammad

Motion Graphics Designer

University of texas at dallas

Ever since I can remember, technology has intrigued me not just as a collection of innovations but as an ongoing narrative of human evolution. It’s a story that I’ve not only been excited to witness but also eager to participate in. Consider this: our journey began with spoken language, which allowed us to share oral stories and convey simple ideas. Over time, we transitioned into written language, which expanded the scope of knowledge we could pass down through generations. Radios arrived, broadcasting information and narratives across vast distances, followed by television that added a visual dimension to storytelling. Then came the era of the internet, transforming our ability to access, share, and interact with information. Mobile technology was the next giant leap. It was no longer just organizations, governments, or households that had access to computers; suddenly, each individual had a powerful device right in their pocket. This not only revolutionized how we communicate but also democratized information access, making it more personal and immediate. And here we are, standing on the threshold of even more profound changes. Virtual and augmented reality wearables are about to redefine how immersive our methods of communication can be.

And beyond that? Perhaps brain microchips that link us directly to the digital realm, erasing the remaining barriers between us and seamless information flow. The essence of my work in marketing is rooted in this perspective. Marketing, after all, is fundamentally a form of communication. It’s more than just an avenue for selling products; it’s a platform for dialoguing with consumers about ideas, values, and visions for the future. This ethos shapes every project I take on, from photo and video production to creating virtual reality tours and developing AI art. Every message conveyed and story told is an opportunity to contribute to this sweeping narrative of progress.

Being honored as one of the “32 under 32” in the Dallas marketing scene has been a humbling experience. While the recognition is appreciated, what truly fuels me is the work itself—specifically the impact it can have on people and the broader narrative of technological evolution. Every project is a learning experience, a small chapter in the bigger book of where communication is headed.

As for the future, my ambitions are tied to a specific dream: launching a tech company that innovates at the intersection of AR, VR, and AI. But it’s not just about the tech; it’s about what the tech enables. It’s about creating platforms that expand our methods of communication, that push us a step closer to a more interconnected, more comprehensible, and ultimately more human world.
