Challenge Bystander Apathy aka

This event is open to both Ad 2 Dallas Members & Non-Members!

Ad 2 Dallas, The Richards Group, Omnicom Media Group, and Vaquero Advertising are proud to present “No Filter” an evening of insightful conversation surrounding bystander apathy in the workplace. No Filter continues the conversations around diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplaces. We’ve invited Veronica Reed to present why the bystander effect may exist in the workplace and examples of how it may occur.  She has created an interactive activity for participants to get involved and actually understand the relativity of this common practice in the workplace through a DE&I perspective. We hope to equip leaders as well as lower management with the tools to make sure every individual feels confident about speaking up in their work environments.

Register to attend virtually on Thursday, January 27th at 6:00pm to connect with our speakers and other young professionals!

This event is FREE to attend

Learning Experience Designer aka The Learning Queen

My personal mission is to connect the learner experience with overall employee experience. Employees who feel empowered to learn are more engaged within the workplace leading to better business results. In my volunteer role through the Association of Talent Development Dallas Chapter I helped to start the New to Talent Development Meetup which provides resources for professionals new to the field of Talent Development.

The Adult Learning Theory I identify with the most is Transformative Learning which is a component of the Andragogy Theory. Learners want to understand why they need to know this information and my job as an Instructional Designer is to create learner experiences that rouse the mind, stir powerful emotions and leave a lasting impression.

    Associate Director, D & I

    Omnicom Media Group

Jordan Jones serves as the Associate Director & Inclusion for Omnicom Media Group. He has been a part of the OMG family for eight years, most recently as a media negotiator. In addition to helping lead D&I efforts, Jordan serves as the regional co-chair of the company’s Black Leadership Network. He is committed to creating and cultivating an inclusive environment where everyone can see themselves and know that they belong.

Jordan is based in Fort Worth, where he lives with his wife, Shanel, and stays busy as a proud #GirlDad to Julia (3) and Jillian (1). He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc, a historically Black Greek-letter organization, enjoys growing in his faith, being a local foodie, and working out (which helps with the foodie part).

    Vaquero Advertising

Raised in Querétaro, Mexico, Fernando always enjoyed learning about business while working for his uncle. Later he joined the advertising scene, and started working as a salesman for his cousin, who had an outdoor media company. After growing the company and selling it, Fernando bolwas able to launch his first agency. For 10+years they did great campaigns all over Mexico and Texas. Upon moving to Dallas, after getting his citizenship he knew it was time to partner up with someone in the biz in order to grow. Two years later, Vaquero Advertising, a Hispanic Marketing Agency in North Texas, was born.

Vaquero Advertising is a Multicultural Marketing Agency. They partner with companies across the US & Mexico and boost their online presence. Their expertise relies on the knowledge of the Hispanic and LatinX culture. They are well known for launching successful influencer marketing campaigns on Social Media and thrive off of their ability to create great online projects together while working remotely.

    Nikki Wilson

    Chief People Officer

    The Richards Group

Nikki’s a newbie to the ad industry, though not to the people profession. She’s been around the human resources block a few times (and around the world, or awfully close to it).

While at General Motors, Nikki gained global leadership experience in Bangalore, Dubai, and Korea, leading strategies that supported talent growth and workplace cultural change. Today, she’s charged with doing the same (and then some) at TRG. In her newly created role, Nikki will create an inclusive and diverse space where everyone has the opportunity for a great employee experience.

Recognized as a bridge builder and an employee coach, Nikki wants to help others succeed in their careers. Her own journey was shaped as a Clark Atlanta University and The Ohio State University alum. Nikki’s energy, empowering nature, and expertise are obvious the moment you meet her. Which may happen sooner than you realize, because she’ll likely come find you. It’s just her style.
