Anna Scott Phillips
Brand Strategy Director, The Richards Group
Anna Scott Phillips established her brand at the age of five. In a kindergarten classroom full of Annas, Anas, and Hannahs, she knew that one name simply wouldn’t be enough. So, she adopted Anna Scott as her doubled, differentiating name. Then set herself to doubling down on making a mark in the world.
Anna Scott was born and raised in Atlanta, where – despite a love of loud, competitive team dynamics – she spent her youth playing the quiet, fiercely independent sport of competitive golf. She graduated with honors from Southern Methodist University’s Temerlin Advertising Institute, where she studied strategy and entrepreneurship. She joined The Richards Group in 2017 and within four years was promoted to Brand Strategy Director.
Today, Anna Scott spends her time helping brands answer their most puzzling questions.
How does The Home Depot completely reinvent Black Friday? How do they introduce
online décor when customers can’t sit on the furniture? How do we inspire second chances across America with every loaf of Dave’s Killer Bread? How should Hobby Lobby launch their first brand campaign beyond the 40 percent off coupon? How could Girl Scouts of America become known for more than just cookies? When she’s not unraveling these riddles, Anna Scott devours books, volunteers in maximum security prisons, and delights in making strangers feel like family. You’re likely not to confuse her for anybody else, two names or not.

His work has taken him across the country as well as overseas, fulfilling a lifelong dream to travel. Hilburn and Fossil taught him much about the industry and proved how dramatically design can impact a brand’s business. After seven years in-house, Brendan was ready for a challenge and took an opportunity to join Spire, one of Dallas’ premier B2B agencies.
As a senior designer, Brendan takes a multidisciplinary approach, and incorporates thorough research and thoughtful problem solving to crystallize what makes the brands he works with unique. No detail is too small to be considered in his design work. Brendan believes that his passion for the details has paid off for Spire’s clients over the past few years, and since joining Spire, his work in website design, packaging, logo design, direction and integrated marketing, and print collateral has received AAF Addys, Hermes, AMA’s and Packaging of the World awards. Brendan is grateful to Spire’s owners, Kimberly Tyner and Steve Gray, for creating a culture in which strong, thoughtful design is valued and teamwork is celebrated. Strategy Manager, Spark Foundry
Jordon Pierre is a Strategic Planning Manager on the USAA team with Spark Foundry. His work includes developing and executing strategic communication plans and recommendations to help promote the long-term business goals of his clients.
Jordon’s interest in advertising and marketing can be tracked back to his early days of high school, where he developed a love for the industry through business classes and served as a State Representative DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) with a focus on creating marketing plans and leadership among his peers. This served as a catalyst for him to attend Bryant University, one of the nation’s Top 10 Business Schools for its Marketing program and completing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a minor in Communications and Sociology.
His professional work first started as an intern with Spark Foundry (then Mediavest|Spark) for two summers during college. Being able to make a positive difference to help elevate others and the space around him is not only his number one motivator, but an unwavering intrinsic goal that he translates to all areas of his life.
